FIRST DAY

10:30 Arrival to hotels.

11:00 Departure from hotels by bus (accompanied by a guide).

11:30 Visit to the house-museum of Manuel de Falla and a visit to the Palace Carmen de los Mártires, a very private Palacette, set in splendid gardens with fabulous views over Granada.

13:00 Lunch in a restaurant in the settings of the Alhambra.

15:00 Guided visit to the Alhambra: Nasrid Palaces, Gardens of Generalife and the Palace of Carlos V

17:30 Guided visit to the Cathedral.

18:00 Concert of baroque music in the Royal Chapel where Queen Isabella I of Castille is buried.

21:00 Dinner with typical dishes of Queen Isabella I times and it is possible to programme a medieval show.

10:00 Departure from hotels by bus (accompanied by a guide).

10:30 Guided visit to the Monastery of San Jeronimo, situated in the university area. Its magnificent renaissance cloister with splendid views of the church and the Gallery, a haven of unexpected peace in one of the busiest areas of the capital, its silence able to harmonize the life of cloistered nuns with different cultural acts, especially religious music. It is here where the Renaissance began.

11:30 After that as a counterpoint we offer a visit to the museum José Guerrero to enjoy modernist paintings.

12:30 A walk from the museum of José Guerrero, through the Alcaiceria, the former Muslim silk market in the very centre of the city, to the Huerta de San Vicente, a property of Federico García Lorca's family, where the poet wrote some of his most famous works (a short recital can be organized in honour of the poet. If you are interested it can be estimated, as it is not included in the price list).

VISIT TO THE ALBAICIN

13:00 Departure by bus to the Albaicin.

14:00 Lunch in a restaurant, situated in a carmen of Granada (traditional house of Albaicin).

15:00 A walk through the most attractive quarter. The Albaicín, an area which includes old minarets such as San José, well-preserved fragments of the old city wall, the well-cared cármenes (villas with beautiful gardens), and squares like San Nicolas with wonderful views at dusk. Bill Clinton who visited Granada and enjoyed the views from San Nicolas, exclaimed: "It is the most beautiful sunset of the world"

17:00 Return to hotels.

DINNER AND FLAMENCO SHOW

20:00 Dinner in Sacromonte quarters.
Sacromonte quarters would surprise the visitor by its white facades and whitewashed chimneys of the caves, which define the unique beauty of the peculiar landscape. The evening would commence with dinner and following this, a Zambra (Gypsy wedding feast) show would be danced by professional gypsy dancers. Active public participation is encouraged at this act.

10:00 Departure from hotels, excursion to the Alpujarras.
The Alpujarras, the last Moorish refuge and formerly one of the least discovered areas of tourism, is today well-known in all its beauty; the white villages perched on the sides of the mountains with their typical terraced architecture, houses with tall chimneys; grapevines; and the shadowy countryside with its background of snow.

13:00 Lunch in a typical restaurant, tasting of autochthonous dishes.

15:30 Return to Granada.

17:00 Arrival to hotels.
